Judicial and Arbitral Methods of Dispute Resolution

As part of the second series of cross-country webinars, legal experts will explore how debt recovery is pursued through state courts. Topics will include the choice of procedure, associated costs, evidentiary requirements, necessary documentation, and interim measures.

A dedicated section will focus on commercial arbitration across six jurisdictions. We will examine key arbitral institutions, fee structures, and representative requirements.

Real-life cases involving payment difficulties will be analyzed to illustrate how the rules of lex arbitri influence timelines, evidence handling, and the involvement of foreign parties. Special attention will be given to the language of proceedings and cross-border considerations—practical challenges that companies encounter daily.

Participants will gain essential benchmarks to help them anticipate risks and develop strategies for protecting their interests across multiple jurisdictions.
